ITI Kaushal College, Ranchi was inaugurated on 1st March 2019. This is a residential training institution that is working for empowerment of underprivileged girls of Jharkhand. Candidates after clearing an entrance test and counselling join the life transforming journey called Kaushal College. The college follows the traditional Indian gurukul mode of training as well as the latest teaching techniques. Their day starts with physical training, yoga & meditation. Post breakfast they hoist the National flag and proceed for their technical training classes.

The curriculum has a right mix of practical and theory classes. Apart from technical training there is a module on Personality development which includes Digital literacy & Communication skills (DLC), Work & Life values (WLV), I-Discover India (IDI), Finance & Entrepreneurship Practicum (FEP).

This college is running two programs titled — ITI Culinary and ITI Manufacturing Technicians with guaranteed job placements.

Founded in 2019, the department of Culinary Arts of ITI Kaushal College, Ranchi provides the best culinary education to future leaders of the food and beverage Industry. This is the flagship program of Pan IIT alumni reach for Jharkhand (PreJHA) foundation creatively designed to provide the best culinary education in one year. The curriculum includes the best of hot kitchen, bakery & confectionery, Indian cuisines, and international cuisines.

About PreJHA

PanIIT Alumni Reach for Jharkhand (PReJHA) Foundation is a non-profit, special purpose vehicle (SPV) set-up as a Joint social enterprise between PanIIT Alumni Reach for India Foundation and agencies of Department of Welfare (DoW), Government of Jharkhand (GoJ). The objective of the foundation is to design, implement and scale in an institutionalized manner across various districts of the state, initiatives for skill development and livelihood enhancement with a special focus on marginalized communities such as Scheduled Tribes (ST), Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG), Scheduled Caste (SC), and other minorities.
